Current Favorites

I kept saying I’d make this an actual thing when the blog first started; putting up some activities and the stuff I’d recommend, but I kept pushing it and putting out various ones spontaneously till now. In other words, I’m super glad to finally create an * official * recommendations category!

Respect and invest in what makes you happy.

Last week, someone commented on my doing one artsy thing or another and I’m like, doing such no longer feels like a matter of choice - I prioritize so much of that stuff as it’s my balance between work and play.

Today’s recommendations in order: Book | Art |

This. Book. This is the one I wouldn’t shut up about in pretty much every conversation I’ve had since I started reading it. You’ve probably seen this one before but if you haven’t read it, please, please do - you can thank me later. I remember buying it months ago but I kept to my mental timetable-ish of all the books I have to finish in my library and things kept happening and I couldn’t get to it until just recently. One excerpt that I constantly think about and I literally used to advice someone just last night is the idea that you cannot fool the universe - energy does not lie, good vibes = good vibes… literally. The pink madness

As you can probably tell through pretty much every blog, I spend my breaks doing a lot of things. One I hadn’t done in quite a while was paint. This was the very first splatter art I made and I was and still am obsessed with it because of its symbolism and cheerfully made it my model for countless pictures.
