evenings in motion

Hold still - the camera is flicking! The night is emboldened by your presence and attentive to your movements. Evenings are when you can finally kiss a busy day goodbye and applaud yourself for your patience, durability, and a job well done. You always say night is your favorite time because it makes you feel ‘so alive’, no wonder you like to move at night. Whether it’s the series you’ve been helplessly streaming, the podcast, the book, the people, or the person you retire the day with; there is a loveliness about evenings that cannot be replaced. During this part of the day, you may stay shamelessly reluctant to do anything that is deemed stereotypically productive for a business day. Long hours call for long showers, and long days, light nights. Don’t be surprised if you’re awake after dusk on a Friday night - one thing you don’t underestimate is all the possibilities that come with a stunning and young evening. I hope you see the stars at night, if not, don’t worry they’re everywhere above, comfortably *hiding in plain sight* with their just as dashing neighbors. It’s true that clocks don’t go anti-clockwise, but this is especially true once work hours are done or once the weekend has begun. Cheers to the good times, dinners, night walks, night talks, and many more. Cheers to motion and the gift of a rotating earth, cheers to the day and to the night.

Until the next one,

-C
