New Levels

Happy graduation season everybody!! Not only is this time of the year about leaving school behind (temporarily or permanently), but it is also the gorgeous transition from spring to summer. The sun is smiling at us again so let’s keep on smiling at life, ourselves, and of course, the sun too.

University was an incredible experience, the courses, the students, the teachers, everything. There are very few things as fulfilling as being educated at a higher level and finishing. You know what, I’ll rephrase that: there are very few things as fulfilling as finishing that which you started. It’s a sense of accomplishment mixed with gratitude and grace. It’s the feeling of the imminent start of something new: a new level.

I think that as we get older, we have a more mature attitude towards change, and moving on to the next thing. It’s nice when something changes when it’s supposed to change, like seasons, age, styles, occupations, whatever the case. It’s a little silly but that sentence reminds me of the game Subway Surfers or even Candy Crush, when you move to the next level. At least for Candy Crush, I can tell you there’s a heavy relief when you finally move to the next round, even with chess, specifically the Chess.com app, when your rating progresses because you’ve been on a winning streak, even Duolingo! I can go on and on with these analogies, but the point is there’s liberty in finishing and starting something new.

To conclude this post on stepping into new chapters and new levels, I found some advice on a motivational speech I watched a while ago that’ll go a long way in any life journey:

Know who you are, know what you’re good at, know, more importantly, what you’re bad at.

Know yourself but don’t make yourself the center of your world.

stay blessed, stay positve.

Until the next one
