a recycled blog:

This was the third blog I ever released. I took it down because the timing suddenly felt awkward- we were in the height of the pandemic, but I was way ahead dreaming of life away from the covid situation in an attempt to melt the tensions of the pandemic. The timing of this is not exactly perfect as reality has us in the pandemic still, with a fresh set of travel restrictions. But, I believe it’s important to remember the beauty of such experiences, the beauty of life; cherish the moments even if they’re now memories - that’s the purpose of this.. It was a gorgeous trip and looking at these pictures creates an indescribable sentiment; gratitude that these things exists.. Another reason for releasing this, is that it’s a prelude to Friday’s blog on the gratification of exploring (explained in the newsletter). Okay, enjoy the visual blog of my 2019 trip to Paris!

As someone who enjoys seeing life beyond the four walls of whatever space I’m confined to, this blog was arguably bound to happen! Right now, we’re all confined due to these unprecedented times, leaving most of us bored out of our minds. With that, I will be taking you on virtual tours to my favorite and the most memorable spots I’ve ever been. Enjoy your very well deserved virtual and very brief vacation:

Views from le sacré coeur - we had to climb an insane flight of stairs to get here but it was absolutely worth it! I didn’t take pictures inside out of respect for the people praying, but yes, it was breathtaking.
