Uncertainty

source: GOLF le fleur

It is painfully true that uncertainty is certain. In my view, that’s a good thing in a very important way. We cannot accurately predict the outcome of every situation we find ourselves in, neither can we predict the journey we’ll take to achieve a goal, get to a particular destination, or how we’ll end up taking that journey. We, quite literally, have no idea. I don’t even mean a plot twist in a story, it doesn’t have to be that dramatic. Think of when you type in a destination on google maps, as you navigate your encounters, feelings, and thoughts are an enigma until you embark on that trip. We are not built to know or understand every single thing. We sometimes stretch ourselves to the extremes in trying to jumpstart, unlock codes, and have full knowledge of something before we do it - but really, can you blame us? Knowledge is power, yes, but knowledge is also safety. As someone who loves knowing, I can tell you uncertainty can be quite uneasy, but in the impossibility of knowing, faith reigns.

Until the next one
