busy

It’s been busy lately but I’ve not forgotten you.

Assignments on assignments, the slow wait for the year to end, and the ball to drop on Times Square. It’s almost Christmas - the best holiday. I may be busy but not too busy for you. I hope everyone has been doing well and that your weather isn’t as confusing as the one here in New York. By the way, why is New York copying London’s weather lately? It was coat season two days ago, today it’s t-shirt season… (today being one of the last days of October). By the time this is released it will be November, the perfect transitioning month, which would 1000% be chilly but filled with lots of music, chatting, and indoor dining ;) Oh, yes.. the lasagna! I wanted to distract you with it in honor of comfort which is typified by the months before the new year, and also to symbolize the American Thanksgiving holiday, fraught with lots and lots of food, family, and friends. Lately, I’ve been thinking about how important it is to slow down, which is perhaps even more important if you live in fast-paced cities or have demanding lifestyles. Let’s all try to make time for peace amid all that madness: remember to take breaks, watch tv, eat, go outside, and whatever else it means for you to recuperate. In other words, try to make yourself as comfortable as this season is.

Don’t be too busy for you.

Until the next one
