BURNOUT!

The slow torment that comes with change is not something often discussed. Yes, it’s true; everyday is a new beginning, but deciding to begin again is a whole process - the wait before the plane arrives and ready to take off for a new flight. This is the unsteady cycle of being creative, of being *a creative, and being human. There’s a need to figure out answers, unlock keys to get to the next level, we’re all just making excuses to get to the next thing because an ambition lies inside and it demands to be paid attention to, it demands to be fed. Whatever your ambition may be, no matter how flawed, flawless, merciless, meek or extreme you deem it to be, you notice it restless; any spark of inspiration stimulates it. We love it because it makes us feel alive. Anything that makes us feel alive, whether good or bad, is something we have a natural inclination to gravitate towards. Fashion, photography, books, people, a person - we absolutely cannot help ourselves in this regard, at least not initially. We succumb to whatever revives a certain freshness, a certain newness we didn’t know we craved.
